If you are anything like us, WWE rumors are just as fun as the matches and storylines themselves. Fans everywhere love to talk about who is getting the next push, who is getting buried, or which surprise appearance might be next.

In this ongoing feature, we will detail all the latest WWE rumors circulating the internet. Feel free to yell at us about them in the comments. Enjoy!

Note to reader: It should go without saying, but these are all rumors. Absolutely, positively nothing that follows is guaranteed to be true in any way. In fact, everything you’re about to read could be hilariously false. Like the WWE itself, wrestling rumors are for entertainment and fun, and should not be taken overly seriously by anyone. Ever.

WWE Originally Wanted To Change Jacob Fatu’s Name

He’s finally here, Jacob Fatu. Legit one of my favorite independent wrestlers has signed with WWE and is a part of The Bloodline. Honestly he has a ton of potential to be the next guy in WWE if he can transition there. Along with hopefully not throwing away his career and potential like Matt Riddle did, dear god what a waste of talent.

Did you know though that the rumored original plan was to debut Fatu in a new name. Its true, because remember when WWE had trademarked the name Caesar Sikoa. You get where I am going here, that was the original name that WWE was going to put on Fatu. Luckily WWE’s creative department is so much more ethical and has more brains with Triple H in charge, they decided to to use it.

Thank goodness too because it would be dumb for Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to keep there names, but Jacob Fatu has to change it. By the way, I expect WWE will use the Caesar Sikoa name on Solo Sikoa when he feuds with Roman Reigns.

WWE Very Frustrated with Fox Censorship

WWE on Smackdown has a ton of notable problems with Censorship. It was really bad on the last episode of Smackdown where “F the Pacers” was heavily censored and with a ton of expletives including a kid giving a middle finger to Nia Jax a black screen was shown many times. This has gotten fans very upset and WWE is rumored to be very frustrated with it either.

What this whole thing tells me is that once that contract with Fox is up, WWE Smackdown, won’t be renewed if frustration like this keeps growing. In fact, I won’t be shocked if Smackdown flees to Netflix if Monday Night Raw succeeds on that platform.

WWE Not Confident that CM Punk Will Be 100% Healthy For SummerSlam

As if you have not been hiding under a rock, one of WWE’s top feuds is CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. It has been a good feud if you ignore the nonsense that happened at the last Clash at The Castle. It is expected that Punk and McIntyre will have a feud in SummerSlam.

A big concern is that CM Punk is still recovering from his triceps injury that he suffered during the Royal Rumble match. It is being reported by Dave Meltzer that there is legit concern regarding his recovery and there is a chance he won’t be ready for SummerSlam.

It would suck if Punk is not able to go for SummerSlam, but I think that this rumor is a little nonsense. I think Punk will be fine for SummerSlam, because there keeping this feud going and it would be a missed opportunity for this feud to conclude at SummerSlam. Will Punk be 100%, I don’t know but only time will tell.

The Moment Dijak Realized Wasn’t Going to be Brought Back to WWE

One of the more stunning departures in WWE involves former superstar Dijak. After all he was not long ago drafted to the Raw brand and has not had one appearance there. He didn’t beat Odyssey Jones who legit has been drafted to Raw for 2 years and never appeared once.

Dijak has been going off on WWE since and rightfully so with how they messed up his career in that disgraceful Retribution stable and botching his callup. What is being rumored is when Dijak knew he wasn’t going to be brought back. The moment was when Dijak had that Speed match against Xavier Woods.

WWE Wanted Anthony Fauci on The Bump

Well now this is pretty weird. Okay, so Anthony Fauci was the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and was the face of the Covid-19 pandemic as the medical advisor. Apparently there were plans that WWE was trying to bring in Fauci to the show “The Bump”. Mainly to talk about the vaccine, the pandemic, and other health things. It never happened as Vince McMahon thought bringing him in was too political

Now keep in mind that this comes from Matt Camp who used to be the personality of the show, and he left on really bad terms with the company. However it is feasible that this could have happened with WWE knowingly bringing in celebrities on the show.

What do you think about today’s WWE rumors? Which ones are you convinced will come true? Which are complete garbage that should have never been put to (virtual) paper? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter, And be sure to check out all of our WWE content here!
