If you are anything like us, WWE rumors are just as fun as the matches and storylines themselves. Fans everywhere love to talk about who is getting the next push, who is getting buried, or which surprise appearance might be next.

In this ongoing feature, we will detail all the latest WWE rumors circulating the internet. Feel free to yell at us about them in the comments. Enjoy!

Note to reader: It should go without saying, but these are all rumors. Absolutely, positively nothing that follows is guaranteed to be true in any way. In fact, everything you’re about to read could be hilariously false. Like the WWE itself, wrestling rumors are for entertainment and fun, and should not be taken overly seriously by anyone. Ever.

WWE Lifts Brock Lesnar Name Ban

It has been awhile since we have seen or heard from Brock Lesnar. A big reason why is due to his alleged involvement to the Vince McMahon’s trafficing lawsuit. it was alleged that Vince was sending photos of Ja’Nel Grant to a UFC Champion and almost everybody believed it was to Brock.

So, yeah, ever since, Brock has not been seen or mentioned. Heck he was not even on WWE 2K24 and his planned WrestleMania 40 Match with GUNTHER was scrapped. Which is a shame because I wanted to See a match between those two since Gunther signed with the company in 2019.

It is now being rumored that the ban on mentioning Brock Lesnar name may have ended. Especially since he was mentioned during the King and Queen of The Ring PPV by commentator Michael Cole. Even Paul Heyman mentioned his name when he got inducted into the hall of fame as well.

Now it was just two mentions, but it could be a sign that Brock Lesnar could make his return. Step 1 of the process is unbanning his name, now it is time to see when Step 2 hits.

WWE Scraps New Gimmick/Nickname For Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is one of my favorite WWE Women’s Wrestlers. She is on my Mount Rushmore along with Alundra Blayze, Sensational Sherri, and Trish Stratus. She has undergone a lot of changes and my favorite gimmick is when she was The Man.

It was rumored that WWE was planning for Becky lynch to have a new gimmick change and recently had filed a trademark for “Big Time Becks” in 2021, which honestly sounded like a heel turn was being planned as well. Honestly, I can’t remember if that had been used once, unless it was a breif mention during her feud with Bianca Belair.

However those plans have rumored to have been scrapped and WWE is planning to abandon the trademark as a whole. Two rumored reason why is because Becky’s contract is up and WWE felt that it could cause legal issues with another person who owns similar rights to the trademark.

Shotzi Could Be Back Sooner Than Anticipated

Shotzi Blackheart, Yes I am going to keep calling her that, because it is dumb that they shortened her name. She has been out for multiple months due to tearing her ACL. It was expected she would be back in around 9 months, but there is a rumor that she could be coming back earlier.

According to Shotzi Blackheart herself, while she is also dealing with a back injury, she just got Steam Cell to help fix a back issue that she has had for several years. In the photo below she also is standing on one leg which is a very good sign on how well her recovery is.

With how treatment has gone with her leg and back, it has been rumored that the expectation for her returning is expected to be sooner the originally anticipated, which is great. Hopefully she is booked better when she returns.

Why WWE Speed is Strictly On Twitter & No Plans to Expand It On Other Platforms

WWE recently started there own Speed Concept where 3 minute matches are done. it has had some really nice matches on there and a lot of people were perplexed why this was not on TV and strictly on WWE’s Twitter account.

There were a ton of rumors growing on why Speed is not on WWE, but the current WWE Speed Champion Ricochet confirmed why it was strictly on Twitter.

Welp, the mystery is solved, Speed is strictly on Twitter due to WWE sigfning a contract to keep it on Twitter. Honestly this is for the best that WWE Speed is on social media. The quick matches fit more on that type of platform yhen on TV.

Look at how 205 Live suffered from that. Then again 205 Live was ruined the moment Vince McMahon booked it because it wasn’t his idea. But the quick 3 minute matches just did not work as a weekly episodic show on the network or on TV when it was shown on Raw.

WWE Speed is much better on social media and I honestly like it and keep tuning into it when I am on a quick break. I am glad that this rumor on why WWE Speed is on Twitter strictly is now solved. The one rumor this also creates is that the plans to expand upon Speed on other platforms will not happen long term, especially on other platforms.

The Real Reason Why Patrick Mahomes Was on WWE Raw A Month Ago

Remember one month ago when Patrick Mahomes appeared on Raw multiple times when Logan Paul was on the show? Yeah I remember and it was really enjoyable. Many thought that Mahomes was on Raw because the show was in Kansas City a month ago. That actually was not the full reason why.

The Real and Main reason why Mahomes was on Raw and used in a more prominent role was due to a sponsorship contract with Prime. That’s right one of the big sponsors of the Prime Energy drink is Patrick Mahomes and it was arranged that Mahomes would appear on Raw. Prime is of course a sponsor of WWE and it was only a matter of time that Mahomes would be a part of a segment or match with Logan Paul.

Now is this going to be the last time we see Mahomes on WWE TV. Probably Not. Triple H himself even tweeted out that Patrick Mahomes has an open invitation to join WWE.

Look, as long as Patrick Mahomes doesn’t bring his scumbag brother Jackson to the company, I would love to see Mahomes on WWE TV. He did a really nice job in his appearance in the company. Time will tell if Mahomes wants to be a part of WWE in the future, but he can’t do all that now as he is still in the prime of his NFL career.

What do you think about today’s WWE rumors? Which ones are you convinced will come true? Which are complete garbage that should have never been put to (virtual) paper? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter, And be sure to check out all of our WWE content here!
