The Negro Leagues will be having a 2nd Season in MLB The Show 24. There are more players that will finally be getting there stories told when the games come out. From the bunch there is one story that is intriguing everybody the most and that is Toni Stone. After all she has become the first female player in an MLB The Show game.

If you don’t know Stone became the first woman to play in the Negro American League for the Indianapolis Clowns in 1953. When looking at her career, she had a very big job in the Negro Leagues. She actually replaced Hank Aaron at second base for the Clowns as Aaron would sign with the Milwaukee Braves.

MLB The Show 24 Includes Women For the First Time

Stone played for Indianapolis for one season before joining the Kansas City Monarchs in 1954. She hit .243 over those two seasons, before retiring from professional baseball.

Out of the available storylines, I am most excited about Toni Stone’s. She has an incredible story that deserves more recognition but unfortunately hasn’t received as much attention as it should. With her inclusion in MLB The Show’s Season 2, I’m thrilled that her story will finally be highlighted and celebrated in the Negro League Storyline for Season 2.
