Announced at the Xbox Developer_Direct, The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom will be the next chapter in the Bethesda/Zenimax Online MMO. The original game was released in 2014 and has been incrementally expanded since then on a more or less yearly basis (did you hear that Blizzard?).
For existing players, Necrom will be available as a regular or deluxe upgrade and new players can choose between a Collection and a Deluxe Collection version (which also includes all expansions).
So…
When Will The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom Be Available?
ESO: Necrom Expansion is set to release on June 5th, 2023, for PC players and on June 20th, 2023, for Xbox and PlayStation players.
Let’s Check That Trailer!
The trailer starts with two individuals standing against a horde of vicious creatures. After some back and forth, a member of the brand new Arcanist class infiltrates the villain´s den. Pinned to the wall with no escape route seemingly in sight, she drops into a hidden realm where Hermaeus Mora; a Daedric Prince resides.
What Is The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom’s Story?
The story takes place in the Telvanni Peninsula and introduces us to the Daedric Prince of Knowledge. With new threats making an appearance, Hermaeus Mora must prevent his enemies from unveiling his hidden secrets, which could ultimately lead to his destruction along with the rest of the world around him.
In order to accomplish this, players must venture to Necrom; the City of the Dead, and discover what has been lost before everything is destroyed. Fence-sitting between the different worlds as an Arcanist is the only way to unmask the dangerous conspiracies that have everything hanging in the balance.
What New Features Will The Expansion Have?

The expansion includes new companions, a challenging trial, and an exciting World Event.
The companions are Azander Al-Cybiades and Sharp-as-Night. Classified as a Redguard Arcanist and an Argonian Warden, they’ll accompany you on your journey once you´re familiar with each other. New objectives will be unlocked along with them as well, if they decide to join you, that is.
The new trial is called Sanity´s Edge and can be undertaken with up to 12 players. You must maneuver through the turbulent mind of a Mage Guild recruit in an attempt to save it from madness. Success can be very rewarding.
The final feature is an Oblivion Raid World Event. Players who decide to participate will have to enter the realm of Oblivion and defend Hermaeus Mora from those wishing to threaten him.
What About That New Class?

The Arcanist is the seventh addition to the ESO class roster and wields the secrets of Apocrypha. As an Arcanist, players also have the power of Crux on their side to use during combat by creating as much of it as possible and using it during specific attacks.
With the option to choose between different strategies of attack, you can play on offense, defense, or support. How you use the magic of the Apocryphal will determine the range of your abilities and what you can accomplish.
