As the newest universe from Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield is the latest role-playing game that plans to revolutionize the player experience and we’ve got you covered on everything you need to know before you embark on your journey.

What is Starfield?

It’s hard to determine what attracts people to playing simulated versions of themselves but one thing that’s for sure is it’s fun being able to live through a different version of yourself. Starfield has taken it to the ultimate level of free-roam role-playing with its version of space exploration.

Starfield is a role-playing game that puts you in the shoes of an astronaut on a mission to uncover the deep secrets of space. You meet with the group named Constellation that are the last remaining space explorers in New Atlantis and your journey begins.

Let’s go to Mars…Finally

We don’t have to debate on the moon landing anymore. We get to see for ourselves and go beyond the limits of previous space adventures. Flying your own ship, creating your individual journey, and exploring new worlds in over 100 solar systems. Yes, 100.

Start by customizing yourself as you choose your background and grow your skills and traits that will determine how your player plays and develops. Level up and unlock new skills by completing challenges and joining an alliance that will determine your path.

How Many Systems

There are over 100 systems where you can land your customized spaceship to uncover new organisms and battle opposition for control. Build your own outpost for survival and resource generation and whenever you leave you can keep things up and running by hiring characters you meet along the way to manage things while you’re gone.

Each planet in Starfield has its own unique landscape and inhabitants. Some are oblivious to you while others may try to eat you whole. You will have opportunities with the skill set you chose that may help you when the time is right. With a completely customizable spaceship, you’ll be able to fly in and out with your own space crew.

Space Battle!

If you’re going to be flying a big ship in space then it’s very well expected that you might be seen by someone who doesn’t take kindly to visitors. Aside from dodging the elements, you’ll be able to engage in all-out battles on your ship as you fly through the galaxy.

Target enemy space stations as you fight to reach your destination. Feel every impact as the rockets ricochet off your ship and try not to be blown to pieces.

Release Date

Starfield is expected to release on September 6, 2023 following the trailer released from Bethesda with a special message from game director Todd Howard.

Pre Order Bonuses

As the first original universe from Bethesda in 25 years, fans are expecting some sort of incentive to pre-order. Pre-order for Starfield is available now and the rumored bonuses are what you’d expect but we may see a possible collectors edition thrown in the mix.

Right now the pre-order bonuses that seem most likely are outfits, utility items like the Vault-Tec canteen, weapons, ship components, and bonus story missions. There might even be a few notable character armor pieces that can be used in-game. For now, everything is still under wraps so nothing is certain.

Everything Else

Starfield will incorporate elements from earlier Bethesda games. Pickpocketing, lockpicking, recruiting, joining factions, and building outposts are all parts of the open world.

The new age of gaming is revolutionary and if done right, Starfield will be in the conversation for game of the year as it’s already one of the most hyped titles in circulation. If you ever needed an excuse to stay home, you’ll have one now.
