Mortal Kombat 1 has been just released on current 9th generation of consoles, PC and Nintendo Switch. All games look amazing and play really well. Except for the Nintendo Switch.

There’s a few problems that Switch players have to endure at launch, and it’s just unfortunate. Overall, Mortal Kombat 1 is a solid game that plays well on other platforms, but the visuals on Switch are just plain disappointing.

The Problem

When early reviews started coming out for the game, comparisons are pretty common when it comes to comparing different consoles. You can really compare the difference for PC, Xbox Series and PS5. But Switch has such a major graphical downgrade, bugs and other issues.

Once the Switch gameplay and cutscenes was revealed and showcased on platforms like YouTube and X (formally known as Twitter) , lots of people would look at it and laugh.

Throughout the many lifeless facial expressions; many people were questioning on why users would purchase a game for $70 for a switch game that looked really bad and ran really poorly.
