The Fall Guy may have impressed critics but it failed to impress the audience after just bringing in $129 million against a $135 million budget. Released at the start of the summer, The Fall Guy was supposed to be the blockbuster that kicked the summer movie season into overdrive, but after a disappointing two-week run in theaters, it’s now available on digital storage fronts to purchase or rent.

After only 18 days in theatres, The Fall Guy is available on digital to buy. The large budget film largely flopped in the box office, and the quick release on digital is a move to bolster returns and help salvage a better financial result for the film. It’s incredibly rare for a new film, particularly a summer blockbuster, to arrive on digital this soon after it’s theatrical release. The film’s performance, however, is a sad continuation of the recent trend of summer movies disappointing at the box office.

The Fall Guy is Available on Digital

The Fall Guy stars Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, a stuntman that springs back into action when the star of a big studio movie suddenly disappears. As the mystery surrounding the missing actor deepens, Colt soon finds himself ensnared in a sinister plot that pushes him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt. Co-starring Emily Blunt and directed by David Leitch (John Wick).
