If you don’t know Gareth Bale is a very notable soccer player. He accomplished so much in the sport including being a seven-time Footballer of the Year, former Player of the Year, five-time Champions League winner, four-time FIFA Club World Cup winner, three-time Spanish Champion, and a three-time UEFA Super Cup winner.
With how notable of a player he was, it was big news when it was announced that he would be included as a playable character in PGA Tour 2K23 by there United Kingdom Twitter/X account.
Gareth Bale in PGA Tour 2K23
This is a great move for 2K to make putting Garth Bale in this game. This is going to reach his large fanbase and a bunch of soccer fans that loved watching this man play. The biggest win as well here, is that Bale is known for his love of golf as well. Especially when he once held up a flag in 2019 that read, “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order,” while playing for Real Madrid.
I don’t know if 2K Sports will do it, but I would love for that flag to be included in the game. Especially in a special cutscene if Bale wins a tournament or golf challenge.
Gareth Bale joins the Dude Perfect squad, Barstool Golf, and John Cena as celebrities’ that are now playable in the game. So far it is super cool playing as them all and can’t wait to play as Garth Bale. My question is are you excited to play as Garth Bale in PGA 2K23?
