The Biggest Fighting Game Tournament in the world is coming back to Las Vegas. During a recent livestream event, we got to see the eight-game lineup for Evo 2023, including the return of a fan favorite.

The Evo 2023 Lineup

EVO 2023
Never thought I’d see the day when Marvel and Dragonball would be in the same lineup.

  • Street Fighter 6 – (Capcom)
  • Guilty Gear Strive – (Arc System Works)
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ – (BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment)
  • Tekken 7 – (BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment)
  • The King of Fighters XV – (SNK)
  • Melty Blood Type Lumina – (Lasengle)
  • Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate – (Warner Bros. Games)
  • Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 – (Capcom)

The stream included some particularly big announcements, including the return of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (which has been absent from EVO since 2017) as a part of the “EVO Throwback Tournament.” Alongside the lineup, the organizers did mention how each of the eight games will also have a prize pool minimum of $25,000.

There will also be a change to the format as the Top Six players will appear on the main stage. This is a change from their previous Top 8s as EVO is known for running particularly late into the night before they get to the final game of the evening.
