It’s time to prepare for combat! With the arrival of Mortal Kombat 1, we experience the return of beloved characters to play as and a vast secondary roster of characters to aid you in battles as Kameo fighters. In this list, we will go over all the characters we will have to aid us in our fights.
Cyrax
Cyrax a member of the Lin Kuei was transformed into a cyborg assassin by the cyber initiative. With his arsenal of bombs, saws, and vast alternative abilities Cyrax will be a great ally in Mortal Kombat 1.
Darrius
Darrius is the leader of a resistance group that plans to overtake Orderrealm. As the head of the Seidan resistance Darrius is required to be well versed in many different fighting techniques. either being a tornado spin or even a bone-crunching leg break he will be ready.
Frost
Frost is a former student of sub zero and member of the Lin Kuei. She is a cryomancer with similar abilities to her master. She lacks the humble nature of her mentor alongside extreme overconfidence but don’t let this stop you from receiving her aid in combat. She may be young but she can hold her own with the best of them.
Jax
Jax Briggs returns to combat as a Kameo fighter this time around. This classic character brings his classic overwhelming strength and power. This time around he is not equipped with his cybernetic arms but he is no less the combatant he has always been.
Goro
Goro, the former champion of Mortal Kombat and the prince of the four-armed Shokan race in Outworld. Goro brings all the strength it takes to hold the title of champion for over 500 years.
Kano
Kano returns as the infamous head of the Black Dragon criminal organization. He as always has access to his signature cybernetic eye that fires a powerful laser beam at whom may ever find themselves in his crosshairs.
Kung Lao
Kung Lao the famous Shaolin monk of the white lotas and descendent of the warrior and a former champion of the Mortal Kombat tournament the great Kung Lao. Armed with his razor-sharp hat Kung Lao is prepared to do whatever it takes to protect Earthrealm and honor his family name.
Motaro
Motaro is head of an extermination team for the emperor of Outworld Shao Kahn. He is a part of a race called the Centaurians a four-legged creature of Outworld who is bred for combat.
Sareena
A former Assassin of the sorcerer Quan Chi Sareena was spared and freed by Sub Zero. with her newly found freedom she uses it to fight back against her former master Quan Chi.
Sektor
Being the first Lin Kuei assassins to join the cybernetic initiative. Armed with missiles and flame throwers Sektor Has been and always will be a dangerous formidable opponent, but can be a great combatant to call an ally.
Shujinko
A warrior who traveled the realms learning skills from many different mentors. Shujinko would one day use his skills to defeat the Dragon King Onaga. With his many skills Shujinko is a great warrior to call upon as an ally.
Stryker
He is a New York City swat team officer. Known for being a one-man swat team and is capable of holding his own against opponents in all the Realms. He may only be packing fire arms and a police equipment but Stryker is more than enough to aid in a fight.
Sonya Blade
Sonya is one of the most famous and classic characters in MK‘s history. She is a special forces military fighter who defends Earthrealm not only from its internal threats but also externally. You can always rely on her to be a great partner to aid you.
Sub Zero
One of the most famous ninjas to exist in gaming history. Sub Zero is Lin Kuei’s cryomancer assassin and has been a staple character of the Mortal Kombat roster and continues to do so as a Kameo fighter as well. If you need a strong character either in battle or as a support very few can be a better option than Sub Zero.
Scorpion
Hands down the most well-known and famous ninja to exist in fighting game history. Scorpion returns once again not only as a playable fighter but also as a Kameo fighter. Armed with his hellfire and deadly spear Scorpion will always be a fierce character to have at your side.
