In 2012, Capcom released Dragon’s Dogma, an under-the-radar action RPG in a medieval setting. Dragon’s Dogma then received a rerelease in 2014 alongside an expansion called Dark Arisen and has since sold around 8.4 million copies. The Upcoming action RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 is just around the corner, so here is a Pre-Order Guide.

Pre-order Options

Standard Edition

Dragon's Dogma 2 Box Art

Pre-ordering the Standard Edition of Dragon’s Dogma 2 includes the base game (at $70) and the  “Superior Weapons Quartet” Pack. The Superior Weapons Quartet gives weapons for four vocations: Fighter, Archer, Thief, and Mage.

Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition includes the “Superior Weapons Quartet”  plus a “Ring of Assurance.” As you might suspect, there is no official word on what this ring does, but considering that rings in the previous title increased the power of skills or base stats such as health or strength, it looks as if this ring could do either.

The last bonus in the Deluxe Edition is a “Journey Pack” which will include several items to help you throughout the beginning of the game, including:

  • Explorer’s Adventure Kit – Camping Gear
  • Dragon’s Dogma Music and Sound Collection – Custom Sounds
  • Harpysnare Smoke Beacons – Harpy Lure Item
  • Heartfelt Pendant – A Thoughtful Gift
  • Ambivalent Rift Increase
  • Makeshift Gaol Key
  • Art of Metamorphosis – Character Editor
  • Wakestone
  • 1500 Rift Crystals.
