What Is The EA Sports PGA Tour Release Date?
EA Sports PGA Tour is slated to release on March 24, 2023. However, purchasing the Deluxe Edition of the game will get you access to it three days early on March 21. The new release date means that the much-anticipated golf game will arrive about two weeks before The Masters, the first major tournament of 2023.
Which Consoles Is EA Sports PGA Tour Available On?
The decision was made to keep EA Sports PGA Tour on next-generation platforms only, so you won’t find the game on the PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch. Instead, EA Sports PGA Tour is releasing on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. You can pre-order the game on PC via Steam or the Epic Games Store.
How Many Courses Are In EA Sports PGA Tour?
When it launches on March 24, EA Sports PGA Tour will include 30 licensed courses. Among them are some top-rated golf courses such as Augusta National Golf Club, Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass, St. Andrews, and many more. On top of the 30 courses at launch, EA will likely add more courses into the game with content updates.
Is Tiger Woods In The Game?
Tiger Woods signed an exclusive deal with 2K Sports to be on the cover of PGA Tour 2K23, released in 2022. Therefore, Woods will not be in the EA Sports PGA Tour game despite being on the cover of Tiger Woods PGA Tour for years until 2013.
Will All The Major Tournaments Be In EA Sports PGA Tour?
All four major championships will be in the game when it launches on March 24. EA Sports PGA Tour will include the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, The Open Championship, the U.S. Open Championship, and The Players Championship. In addition, every one of the host courses for the major tournaments will be available in the game.
Which Modes Are In The Game?
EA Sports PGA Tour will certainly include a variety of online modes, as well as a robust career mode. Players can create their own golfer and qualify for the PGA Tour via multiple amateur events, then pursue greatness on the tour and attempt to win the FedexCup playoffs. The recent teaser trailer indicated that multiple professional golfers will be present in EA’s PGA Tour game, including LPGA professionals and LPGA events. There is no concrete list of included professionals in the game yet, but don’t count on any golfers who have joined LIV Golf to be in the game in any way.
