The new motorcycle drama starring Tom Hardy, Austin Butler, and Jodie Comer is coming soon to a small screen near you. Set in the 1960s, The Bikeriders is about the golden age of motorcycle clubs before gangs took over in the 1970s. Written and directed by Jeff Nichols, The Bikeriders also stars Michael Shannon and The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.

When is The Bikeriders Coming to Digital?

The Bikeriders is based on author and photographer Danny Lyon’s book of the same name. Lyon, played by Mike Faist (Challengers) interviews and takes photos of members of the Vandals Motorcycle Club based out of Chicago, inspired by the real-life Chicago’s Outlaws Motorcycle Club. The film’s end credits are accompanied by pictures of some of the real-life people each character was based on.

Thanks to When To Stream, The Bikeriders will be released to streaming on July 9th. While the site is typically accurate, it’s worth noting that the streaming tracker does state that the studio, Focus Features, hasn’t yet confirmed the PVOD release for The Bikeriders so the date could be subject to change.
